Dr. Larry Luter is the chief medical officer of Meritain Health. Previously, he served as senior medical director of CIGNA HealthCare of Florida and as medical director of AvMed Health Plan in Florida with responsibilities in member advice, emergency admissions, homecare, skilled nursing facilities and disease management. Dr. Luter retired from the U.S. Navy Medical Corps in 1992 after working as head of the Family Practice Department and serving as director of medical services at the naval hospital in Orlando, Florida.
